About Our Madarasa

A Few Words About the Madarasa

Founded in the 1980s, Sautul Qur’an has grown from a humble Quranic learning center into a fully integrated school that now houses two distinct but complementary sections: Sautul Qur’an Madarasa – Focused on Quranic and Islamic education. Sautul Qur’an Academy – Delivering quality Western and computerized education rooted in Islamic values. The School was founded by Dr. Shehu Ahmad Rufa’i, a visionary educator and community leader. His dedication to knowledge, spirituality, and innovation has transformed Sautul Qur’an into a center for holistic learning—where Islamic and modern sciences are taught in harmony.
  • Our Mission

To provide a balanced and accessible platform for both Islamic and Western education. We aim to: Instill a deep love for the Qur’an and the Sunnah, Nurture intellectual curiosity and critical thinking, and Produce morally upright, academically sound, and spiritually conscious individuals who will be leaders in their communities.

  • Our Vision

We envision a world where students excel in both Deen and Dunya (religious and worldly affairs), embodying the teachings of Islam while thriving in modern disciplines. Sautul Qur’an strives to be a beacon of educational excellence, a center for nurturing future scholars, professionals, and community builders.

Scholarship Programs

Our commitment to Quranic education extends beyond the walls of our institute through our Charity Program - "Education for Every Child." This initiative is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for children without parents, ensuring that they receive the guidance and support they need to thrive
